First watercolors, then figurative works, printmaking and finally collage.  Collage began as a cover up for watercolors and monotypes that didn’t really work.

Architectural images and nature themes emerged as the predominate images in these works.   I collage very flat connecting the tiniest of images into the whole. The process is always intuitive and the outcome a surprise.
Collage is an intimate medium, and must be appreciated up close and personal to fully appreciate it’s intricacy.  This is especially true of my work.
At first glance, many of my black and white collages are reminiscent of abstract photographs rather than meticulous collages (Complex Living).
